History of American Cooking- Colonial Williamsburg Experience

Yes, Colonial Williamsburg is a great place for the foodie with a history. You will not taste the food because it is not allowed but behold preparation of food and watch how cooking in the U.S.A.’s early days foreshadows our one pot meals which continue today.

  2. Ahhh I’m totally getting into the old ways of American cooking! I stumbled upon a cookbook from the late 19th century and started a blog about it! (http://triedandtested1915.wordpress.com/)

I really do underestimate the skill that went into food preparation back in the day. Seeing as how I like just 3 hours from Williamsburg, I definitely need to revisit! Haven’t been since I was little! Too bad I won’t get to eat the food you guys prepare with your demo though haha
