Peanut Butter Bran Shake

Looking for a healthier peanut butter that does not lack flavor though not packed with sodium?  Try Laura Scudder’s brand, claiming simply peanuts and a pinch of salt as the ingredients.  Recently, I tried a Peanut Butter Smoothie from Denny’s which was great.  Like all good recipes there comes a desire to try the recipe at home.  Laura Scudder Bran has a healthy Peanut Bran Shake recipe, great for the pre-workout protien.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup apple juice, chilled
  • 3 tablespoons bran cereal
  • 1/3 cup  Laura Scudder’s® Old Fashioned Nutty Peanut Butter
  •   Ground cinnamon to taste
  • 1 cup frozen vanilla yogurt

If you want chocolate peanut then substitute chocolate frozen yogurt.
