Maya Rudolph is an American film and television actress. She is the daughter of producer Richard “Dick” Rudolph and soul and R&B singer Minnie Riperton. Maya’s mother died when Maya was seven years old.

Maya’s father is Jewish (from a family from Russia, Germany, and Hungary). Maya’s mother was African-American.

While working on Saturday Night Live, Rudolph’s ability to deliver countless accents and change her looks with the switch of a wig, allowed her to play an unusually wide range of ethnicities on the show. During her seven years on the show she portrayed characters that were white, black, Asian, Latina as well as people of mixed cultural backgrounds. Some of her most memorable impressions include Oprah Winfrey, Paris Hilton, Donatella Versace, Beyoncé, Whitney Houston, and Liza Minnelli.

The Multi Cultural Multi Talented Drake

The Toronto, Canada born actor/rapper Aubrey Drake Graham’s heritage includes a Jewish mother and an African American musician father from Memphis.  He has been opening up more about his Jewish identity(See Video).  He first garnered attention on the extremely popular Canadian teen soap, Degrassi.

Then Drake set the world on fire with his talent as a rapper. In June 2009, Drake signed a recording contract with Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment.In November 2009, Lil Wayne released a statement announcing that Drake’s first studio album, Thank Me Later, had been completed. The album was released on June 15, 2010, and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.  In 2012 he release a a video which display him going through some of the rituals of Jewish Culture.
